INTRODUCTION

International Beauty Champion (CIB) and French Champion Adorele Angel in the Snow (aka Crinkle) is a home bred Adorele young lady, who was born into the world of Adorele in January 2014. From the very first moment, Crinkle always caught everyone's eye in the first litter of Adorele's shining star, Tanika, and sired by North American Born, Swedish based Mocca. She is a real character who brings a ray of angelic light to Adorele.

She is health tested, and has clear BVA eye tests both as part of puppy screening and since then with regular annual clear eye tests.

CRINKLE ENTERS THE SHOW RING (2014)

Crinkle has followed in her illustrious mom's footsteps, entering the show-ring in late 2014 in the UK, and qualifying for CRUFTS 2015 in her very first championship show. Her profile as one of the most promising UK bred Havanese puppies was confirmed, when she won 1st in the Puppy Bitch Class, Best Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy in Breed at the illustrious Ladies Kennel Association (LKA) Championship Show at the NEC in December 2014!

STEPPING OUT AS A SUCCESSFUL JUNIOR (2015)

Crinkle continued to do well as a Junior. She won First in Junior Bitch classes at no less than four successive major UK championship shows in her first few months as a Junior show dog.

First, against notable opposition, Crinkle proved a major success at UK Championship Shows in 2015, winning 1st in the Junior Bitch Class in her very first show as a Junior at the Manchester Championship Show in January 2015.

Indeed, Crinkle's reputation as an exciting new show prospect in the UK, was further highlighted when Crinkle then went on, two months later (8 March 2015), to be awarded 1st in a highly competitive 11 strong Junior Bitch class at CRUFTS 2015!

Finally, Crinkle made it four out of four, when she was awarded First in Junior Bitch classes at both the UK Toy Dog Society Championship Show (28 March 2015) and at the Scottish Kennel Club (SKC) Championship Show in Edinburgh (16 May 2015) respectively.

PAVING THE WAY AS A POSTGRADUATE (2016)

Crinkle also made a successful move to becoming a young adult show girl. After taking the summer off with the Miles family, Adorele Angel in the Snow achieved 1st Place in highly competitive postgraduate classes in three major UK Championship Shows in succession, including CRUFTS 2016! Crinkle won 1st Place in the Postgraduate class at Midland Counties Canine Society Championship Show (22 October 2015), CRUFTS 2016 at the NEC (10 March 2016) and at the UK Toydog Society Championship Show (26 March 2016).

BEST OF BREED IN FRANCE (2016)!

Crinkle's reputation as an outstanding show dog reached foreign shores in 2016. Crinkle enjoyed major success abroad winning three Best of Breeds (BOBs) three CACs and two CACIBs over summer 2016 in her first three shows abroad. Against notable opposition, including many of the best Havanese show dogs in France, and at her first opportunity showing outside the UK, Adorele Angel in the Snow achieved major success. Crinkle was awarded her first CAC, CACIB and Best of Breed (BOB) Winner of the Havanese, under French judge Fernand M Chagnard, at the Championnat de France (4 June 2016) - the most prestigious international dog show in all of France!

This was followed just over a month later with two further major wins. Crinkle won CAC, CACIB and BOB at the Ales International Championship Show in the South of France (10 July 2016). Crinkle was judged by the highly respected French judge, Annie Veyrier.

And two weeks later, completed the set of three Best of Breeds and CACs out of three, winning the BOB and CAC at the National Dog Championship Show in Dieppe in Northern France (31 July 2016) under French judge, Raymond M Soulat.

CONSISTENT CRINKLE (2017)

After a long break in Dorset, Crinkle returned to CRUFTS in March 2017. After achieving 2nd Place in a highly competitive international Open Bitch class that included multi CRUFTS and current FCI International Champions from overseas, Crinkle was assigned a Stud Book Number by the UK Kennel Club. Not only is this an honour in itself, but also means that Crinkle joins an elite group of dogs that are qualified for CRUFTS for life!

Furthermore, Crinkle enjoyed a remarkable 2017. In March 2017, she was awarded the Reserve Challenge Certificate (RCC) at the UK Toy Dog Society Championship Show (25 March 2017. Despite being lightly shown, she has also won Best Bitch (Bournemouth, 13 August 2017) and Reserve Best Bitch (Bath, 26 May 2017; Paignton, 8 August 2017) awards at UK championship shows.

Indeed, the judges' opinions say it all. Experienced UK judge, Lynn Webster described Crinkle as:

'a complete picture, well balanced in superb coat,and didn't disappoint to go under the wealth of coat, knew her stuff and was full of bounce, enjoying her day' (Bournemouth Championship Dog Show 2017, published in Our Dogs).

Overall, our very own black and white remains a consistent performer making an impact on the UK Havanese dog showing scene.

FRENCH CHAMPION CRINKLE! (2017)

In June 2017, Crinkle returned to France and the Championnat de France (3 June 2017). Crinkle did it again; winning the RCAC and RCACIB in the Havanese, under international judge, Barbara Muller - meaning that she has been awarded honours in this prestigious dog show for two years running! Later in July, Crinkle was awarded the CAC and CACIB as Best Opposite Sex (Best Bitch) at the Dunkerque North Sea Championship Show (16 July 2017) by international judge Hans Van Den Berg!

On 11 August 2017, Adorele received formal confirmation from the Societe Centrale Canine that Crinkle had been officially confirmed as French Champion - one of the very rare occasions when a UK home-bred Havanese had been awarded this prestigious French title.

BELGIAN WINNER - BACK TO THE SHOW RING (2018)

After a long break that included having a wonderful litter of little Crinkles, she returned to the show ring, winning the CAC, CACIB and then Best of Breed and the title of Belgian Winner 2018 in the Havanese at the highly reputable 2018 Brussels Dog Show under Dutch judge, Wilma Strijbos (9/12/2018). This is the most prestigious dog show in Belgium. It also ensures that Crinkle has now gone Best of Breed at two of the capital international shows in Europe!

FCI INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION (2019)

Crinkle visited the Netherlands in 2019 walking away and winning both of the CACIB awards at the two (46th and 47th) Rotterdam International Championship Shows (24 and 25 August 2019) in the Netherlands. In particular, she won the CAC, CACIB and title of Best Bitch (Best of Opposite Sex) at the 47th Rotterdam International Championship Show (25 August 2019) under renowned international judge, Dagmar Klein.

After this impressive performance in Holland (taking her up to 6 CACIBS from 3 different countries), Crinkle was officially awarded the title of International Beauty Champion (CIB) (13 December 2019) - the top Championship title of FCI!

Crinkle was bred, and is owned, loved and handled in the show ring by Lesa Miles.

Crinkle is now retired from the show ring although we will continue to have enjoyable fun with this little angel both home and abroad ...
