Ch Ulurudawn Cardinal Marker (Ruban) has five CCs and this year, 2018, by gaining His Show Gundog Working Cerificate at a field trial in 2018 he "upgraded" from Show Champion to Champion.
Still excelling in the show ring, he most enjoys working on local shoots as a member of the picking up team. His mother Ulurudawn Clipper(Ochre) also has her stud book number like her son.
This gives them lifetime qualification for Crufts, but sadly Ruban is unable to go due to being legally docked for working.
In 2017, Ruban's daughter, Russetmantle Compass Rose of Ulurudawn joined the family and she also is proving herself in the ring. She was from the first litter bred by Sue Gottlieb, the daughter of the well known Vizsla guru, the late Gay Gottlieb. We were honoured to be asked to use Ruban as the stud on the first Russetmantle litter in many years.
