Introducing Ruby aka Ladyhawke California Star born in February 2012, out of our home bred Ladyhawke Andromeda, Millie by Sue and Martin Harris's Am Ch/Sh Ch VJK-MYST Sterling at Barleyarch. Ruby is grandaughter to our foundation bitch Holly (Gleadsbury Rising Star over Ladyhawke)

Ruby had a fantastic start to her show career, gaining her Junior Warrant at 10 months of age.

She made her debut at North Riding Gundog Open Show in August 2012 where she was Best Puppy in Breed and Reserve Best Puppy in Show. City of Birmingham in September 2012 was her first Championship Show where she was Best Puppy in Breed.

She was also Best Puppy in Breed at Richmond and Gundog Society of Wales Championship Shows and Best Puppy Bitch at Gundog Breeds of Scotland

She was Best Puppy In Show at both the German Shorthaired Pointer Association open show in September 2012 and the German Shorthaired Pointer Club open show in October 2012 and Reserve Best Puppy in Show at the North of England HPR open show.

Ruby ended her puppy show career in style by winning Best Puppy in Breed, Best of Breed, Gundog Group 3, Gundog Puppy Group 1 and Best Puppy in Show at Pontefract & District Open Show in February 2013.

She has continued her show success with regular placings at Championship Shows and gained her 1st CC and Best of Breed at GBAS Championship Show in November 2015.

Ruby is worked as well as shown she loves the grouse moor and she also picks up on a local shoot.
