CRUFTS QUALIFIED FOR 2018

NOW FULLY RETIRED FROM THE SHOW CIRCUIT AND MATERNITY DUTIES, SAFFRON HAS PROCLAIMED HERSELF MARY POPPINS OF THE HOUSEHOLD, DOING HER BEST IN EDUCATING THE YOUNGER MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY, NOT ALWAYS APPRECIATED BY THE LITTLE MONKEYS....

A houndy type Beagle, Saffron had a lightning start in the show ring at 6 months, winning BPIB, BOB, PG3 & G3 at her first show, wiping the floor with her brother Porthos (now ShCM, Crufts Class winner & entered in KC Stud Book Register), half sister Rosemary (Crufts qualified 2016), mum Tansy (multiple Crufts qualified), and dad Jake (Crufts Class winner, later gained his ShCM and has become a Champion!)

A lady of her own mind, only shows her best when it suits her, not necessarily when asked, once 'in the zone', will display her dad Jake's super soft expression and stunning topline when stacked and on the move, just occasionally getting a bit over exubirant like her mum Tansy!

In the garden, Saffaroni Macaroni is 'in charge' of the vegetable beds, or so she likes to claim, especially at harvest time, when she will attempt to grab the best specimens, even if it means having to dig them out after scaling the so-called Beagle proof fence! Once that is all done, and having 'assisted' with cooking dinner (that is, overseeing veggies being chopped and clearing up any peelings), she will claim the prime spot on the sofa, using the 'I'm an oldie' card if required!
