IR CH Ballymana Begonia (Flora) was our first Bernese from Mrs S Clarke.

Flora Has Character Assessment Graded Excellent.

Good Citizen Award Bronze and Silver

Flora loves to cart at club show carting events and also charity events. she is a real hit with young children.

She has many Achievements in the show ring but the ones that has pleased us most are at the Northern show 2007 l when she got 2nd in Veteran. Our aim is Longevity in our Breeding. She also got at the northern show 2008 under breed specialist Jude simonds, and 2nd in veteran under breed specialist in bmd pre european show
best veteran in the european show. 2009
she was prevented from entering the Bernese club of Ireland show in 2009.

Flora is a very healthy great grandmother

Flora lives with her her first Daughter Freesia and her second Daughter Fennel. And freesia Daughter Star and her Great Grand son Benson. Her grandaughter Cathy.4 GENERATIONS in one house.

WE ARE VERY SAD TO REPORT THAT fLORA HAS DIED SHE DIDN'T QUITE MAKE IT TO HER TENTH BIRTHDAY.
SHE DIED PEACEFULLY IN MY ARMS. SHE LEAVES A HUGE GAP IN OUR LIVES BUT WE ARE SO THANKFUL HER PROGENY LIVES ON TO COMFORT US.

PLEASE READ HER SHOW RESULTS AND CRITIQUE FROM BREED SPECIALIST HELEN DAVENPORT WILLIS AT THE BMD CLUBS PRE EUROPEAN SHOW. AND THEN THE NEXT DAY SHE WENT ON TO WIN THE BEST VETERAN AT THE EUROPEAN SHOW UNDER MR GORAN BODEGARD (SWEDEN)
ALSO SHE DID REALLY WELL AT THE BMD CLUB OF SCOTLAND SHOW IN AUGUST 2009. WITH MR MARK BENSON WHO WITH HER WON HIS CLASS FOR JUNIOR HANDLING AND THEN WENT ON TO WIN BEST OVERALL JUNIOR HANDLER.

RIGHT TO THE END FLORA WENT EVERYWHERE WITH US, AND IT WAS VERY FITTING THAT SHE WENT OUT TO THE GARDEN CAME IN AND LAY DOWN AT MY FEET, MY SON PHILIP CAME IN SHE PUT HER PAW UP AND LAID HER HEAD ON MY KNEE AND PASSED AWAY. SO SUDDEN AND SO QUIETLY AND PEACEFULLY
