I can scan your bitch/queen in the comfort of your own home (Hampshire & Oxfordshire ), so no need for stressful trips to the vets for confirmation of pregnancy, ideally with bitches between 25-35 days of last mating. For a heavily coated breed I may need to clip a small amount of hair in the middle of the abdomen.
I am also fully qualified by Pet detect to microchip Dogs, Cats and other small animals. Microchipping is a simple solution thats gives peace of mind to owners. It makes it easier to get your pet back should they stray or be stolen.

Ultrasound-
Ultrasounds at day 30-35 post breeding is a great diagnostic tool to confirm pregnancy. It can have the drawback of not being accurate to count, but can determine heartbeats and gestation. All images and videos are saved, but you are more than welcome to take your own. The ultrasound machine we use is the VIS ScanPad +. This is of a professional grade, with superior image quality, creating a beautiful experience to share with your pet.

I am able to confirm pregnancy from 25 days but I like to scan around 30 days from mating for a more accurate scan. I offer a mobile service for pregnancy confirmation in dogs from 28 days post mating although I prefer to do scans around 32 days. I can also scan following delivery of the pups to ensure all pups have been born in the comfort of their own home so reduces stress to the bitch. I charge £25 for a scan but can work out a package deal if more scans wanted. If location is more than a 10 mile radius from my address then £1.00 per mile charge will be added. I also offer a microchipping service for when the pups are old enough. Price is £10 per microchip but again if you have had a scan from me a package deal can be drawn up. I am fully trained for both scanning and microchipping and I have full insurance with Hiscox.
