Hello and a very big welcome to "Home Counties Dog & Small Animals Pregnancy Detection Scanning".

I am a fully qualified Sonography Technician having studied and passed both levels 1 & 2 in Canine/Animal Ultrasound Scanning.

My scanning machine is UK vet grade and is one of the newest and most high tech versions available, which allows me to provide you with beautifully clear images.

I scan on a full time basis and cover a very large geographical area including:

Price is dependent on your location and ranges anything between £40 and £60.

I generally conduct all scans in the comfort of your own home to minimise any stress to your bitch. Each scan takes between 10 and 20 minutes.

We supply a mobile service for microchipping, ultrasounds, whelping assistance, basic grooming and puppy care. We also provide a hand-rearing service for pups that are sick or unable to feed on their own.

I offer a mobile service for pregnancy confirmation in dogs from 28 days post mating although I prefer to do scans around 32 days. I can also scan following delivery of the pups to ensure all pups have been born in the comfort of their own home so reduces stress to the bitch. I charge £25 for a scan but can work out a package deal if more scans wanted. If location is more than a 10 mile radius from my address then £1.00 per mile charge will be added. I also offer a microchipping service for when the pups are old enough. Price is £10 per microchip but again if you have had a scan from me a package deal can be drawn up. I am fully trained for both scanning and microchipping and I have full insurance with Hiscox.

Best results to detect and confirm pregnancy is from day 28-35 from the first day of mating. The ultrasound scan involves an examination of the abdomen to confirm pregnancy, a picture of your bitches scan can be emailed to you if required at no extra cost. As an experienced breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, I fully understand the involvement and planning a litter and the importance of finding out early whether your bitch is in whelp, avoiding costly expenses and the disappointment of a phantom pregnancy.
