I am a pet portait artist, based in North Devon. I work mainly in pastel. I have a degree in Graphic Arts and 25 years experience in the design industry. £95 for a single portrait, unmounted and unframed and size around A4 - A3. I can price my work reasonably because it is relatively quick to complete (compared with oils for example) and materials costs are quite low. I am an artist based in beautiful North Devon.
I live with my family, black labrador, Mabel, and cat, Monty. I have a degree in Graphic Arts and Illustration, from the Ruskin College of Art in Cambridge, and have almost twenty years experience working in the industry. I have always loved drawing, especially dogs, and I hope this shows in my work.

Prices start from £95 for an unframed original pastel drawing. Pastel is my favourite media - I usually work on thick brown paper as it is lovely surface for my beloved pastels, which my late grandfather used to use, and then gave to me.

Working in pastels on what is usually recycled paper means I can keep the cost of my work reasonable.

Photos
I work from photographs, so you will need to supply a photograph of your pet.

Payment
Prices start at £95, plus postage, for a single head portrait with no background, unmounted and unframed.

I usually work to fit the image to about A4 to A3 paper size, and a small variation in the size doesn't really affect the price as I put as much time and effort into every piece.

I will require a 20% deposit before I start your drawing.

I accept payment by bank transfer, PayPal or cheque from UK customers.

Framing
If you would like your picture framed, I use a local framer here in North Devon, and can obtain a price for framing your picture to suit your requirements on request. Just give me a call and we can discuss what you would like.

Delivery
I will send your drawing via Royal Mail Special Delivery, which will cost around £10 to £15, depending on the size of the drawing.
