Kennel Club Assured Breeders, providing high quality, friendly, supportive stud services, ‘Beckholm’ is a small home-based kennel, where our dogs live as part of the family and are successfully shown to a high standard.
With a life-long love of dogs, our first step into breeding was in the 1970s when we trained & competed German Shepherds in working trials & bred Shepherds for ourselves, other competitors and service dogs.
Over the years, the needs and interests of a growing family took over and we saw horses coming into our lives. Never without a dog or two, we found Border Terriers the ideal companions for everything equine and there began a lasting love of the breed - some 23 years to date - which eventually led to showing and KC Assured breeding.

Both Ron (Bordergold Rudolph at Beckholm) and Eddie (Pipruda Dark Rum at Beckholm JW) have successful showing careers, and both have their Stud Book numbers, qualifying them for Crufts for life. In addition, Eddie has been awarded his Junior Warrant by the RKC. With excellent temperaments and full of character, they both live, and are loved, as part of the family.
