We bought our first show Dane in 1979, both of us having been associated with Danes in our respective families for many years. They live happily alongside our cats and we are proud that there are always at least two or three veterans amongst the gang.

We bred our first litter in 1985 and kept a fawn male Champion Danemoor The Persian Boy 'Darius' who gained his title in 1990.

He features in the pedigrees of all Danemoor Danes, his mother Dorneywood Lucretia being our foundation bitch. All our dogs are descended from her.

'Darius' features in the pedigrees of all Danemoor Danes, notably Danemoor Jack Frost who was top black male 1995/96, Danemoor Gorgeous George who gained 1 CC and 1 RCC and Danemoor Going For Gold with 1 CC and 3 RCCs.

And of course Ch Danemoor Black Watche with Sarawen who gained his title in 2018 and has been top black male for 4 years running.

Our lovely fawn boy Danemoor Going For Gold who was a consistent winner in the show ring for over Eight years with l CC & 3 RCC. He continued to thrill us by continuingi his winning ways in Veteran. He was Top Veteran Dog in the South Western Great Dane Club's League for 2008 and 2009.

Our lovely boy Black Prince (Oz) had a smashing show career, rarely out of the cards and his daughter Black Swan (Ebony) is mum to some of our lovely dogs.

We do not show much at present due to family commitments and health concerns but will be back out soon hopefully.

Our litters are bred with care being mindful of the hereditary problems that can occur in the breed. It is the aim of our kennel to produce healthy well reared great danes who will be a credit to us and to this noble breed.

Our dogs take part in the ongoing screening programme at Liverpool Veterinary Hospital for DCM with excellent results. To date none of our stock that has been scanned has shown signs of DCM at the time of testing. For other health testing please speak to us.

Many of our puppies go to homes where 1, 2 or even 3 of our line already live!

Olivia is a championship show judge and Secretary of a Breed Club.
