Chris has been breeding & training gundogs for 40 years, gaining Field Trial awards with 6 different breeds
Has bred & trained Field Trial Champions.

Now concentrating on producing top class retrievers that are good looking, sound, trainable and fit for purpose for competiton, shooting or picking up, yet still retain the ability to be family dogs.

We believe in only breeding from proven bitches with a minimum requirement of entry into the Kennel Club Stud Book, fully health tested,.with good conformation and a temperament that make them a joy to live with. We don't have a colour bias - we just like good dogs!

We are just as careful with our choice of sires and any litter is carefully planned, with a view to bringing suitable lines and temperaments together.

All our dogs pick up several days a week for Bettws Hall, act as peg dogs and still compete in field trials on their days off. They are equally happy living in the house or in our indoor kennels.
