So a bit about us, me and my partner have both been bought up in the countryside, always out in the field at a very young age beating and picking up and being lucky enough to have a father who has always had and trained gundogs since he can remember and helping his grandfather gamekeeping, I just fell in love with the sport straight away! Both me and my partner have been working our dogs for the last 14 years now. We enjoy multiple days out over the season with our 11 dogs working them either in the line or picking up. We have owned all of our dogs from pups and now can proudly say we have bred 4 generations of springer spaniels to keep their working line going. We only have 1 or 2 litters out of our dogs to keep one to bring on and use in the working line and often have high demand for the pups!

Our dogs are not only our working dogs but our pride and joy too and they all live in the family home and enjoy beach walks, days out and walks everyday (sometimes even snuggles on the sofa)!!!

Our venture with Lanketts Gundogs started together nearly 3 years ago, where me and my partner received lots of compliments on our two gundogs when out in the field shooting, beating and picking up.

We were then approached many times, asking if we trained them and if we were ever looking to start breeding or gundog training. So we thought we would channel this into making our own gundog page where we share all our adventures, stories and training tips to see where it took us!

Since then we never looked back. We have both learnt so much and made some amazing friends and people who support us in which we are eternally grateful for.
