Sylvianne's

Our kennel exists since 2002 and was founded by Sylvia Stahn-Bergrath. Freia Gerdes and Paul Hornburg-Naujokat have been supporting the breeding activities since 2015 and 2016 respectively. From puppies to very old whippet ladies and gentlemen, all ages are represented and live with us in green surroundings near Oldenburg (Oldb.).

Our breeding goal is a Whippet closely based on the elegant English type, which can definitely demonstrate its willingness and ability to perform.

We have one to three litters per year and we carefully select breeding partners. The breeding takes place taking into account the processes of imprinting, socialization, habituation and classical and instrumental conditioning and we strive to offer the puppies a lot of incentives so that they can go to their new families well equipped and prepared.

Of course, we are available to help new puppy owners with advice and support and look forward to keeping in touch.

The dogs below is just a selection of 7 out of 17) as we breed in a group of three and keep the dogs and bitches at three different places where we live.

All dogs are staying with us in house, no crates or kennels are used. All dogs do harmonize to others of our litters and their temperament is amazing.
