I, Jill Williamson, Business Owner and Manager of Paws and Claws has over 35 years of canine experience training the majority of today’s most popular breeds whilst also having the unique opportunity in my spare time to develop puppies for Beagle and Hound groups in the local vicinity.

After 11 years working full-time as the Executive Director of Sedgefield Racecourse the exciting opportunity to acquire some land fit for purpose seen my career move from puppy training in her spare time to managing a pet sitting, boarding business and training dogs full-time. The passion of a hobby turned into a dream role.

I have studied Dog Psychology over the years to increase my knowledge of the different breed facts, temperaments and roles in order to create bespoke and breed specific training initiatives to enhance basic training programmes resulting in positive achievements. I am also trained in the latest AIM Canine Care and Management qualifications.

All staff employed are training to qualify or are qualified in Animal Management and have a passion for animals ensuring quality care and attention throughout the team with all of our visiting dogs, breeding dogs, puppies and pets.
