We have kept labradors now for over 20 years as family pets. Influenced by part of my family that had farms and were vets we became interested in breeding our own line of dogs to ensure our dogs had been bred for the right reasons and to obtain typical Labrador temperament and looks - the reason the breed is so popular. We sadly have come across some labs that really don’t look like labs and that have some undesirable characteristics to their temper. We have a wealth of experience and knowledge and are interested only in the improvement of the breed. We only have litters occasionally when we are having a pup ourselves or for family and friends and those that have previously given a home to our dogs. For the rest of the time we are alway happy to help anyway with advice and support, particularly those looking for a puppy for the first time and wanting to do the process correctly. We also keep in touch with many of our families and offer a lifetime and more or “being at the other end of the phone” for their dogs that we have bred. We have done shows but merely for fun. We find our dogs are quite happy in the woodland we live in, running free with our 6 kids and being loved to bits. I do think however anyone serious about showing could do well with our line of dogs and likewise we’ve had puppies trained well to the gun and for agility.
