I have always had Dachshunds in my life, my first was a standard Black &Tan Long Hair called susie, who i showed back in 1971 when i was 9yrs old, having been taken to ringcraft with a friend of the family and her GSD. I was also very fortunate to have been advised in my younger showing days by the very kind and wise Molly Raine. In my early 20’s I decide to have a break from showing and concentrated on my careeer.
Fast forward to 2010 when the Mini Smooths enter our lives !
My lovely mum wanted a dachshund again after losing our old boy at 15 , Chester was a mini long Hair and was always full of himself. Having found a litter of mini’s we went to see them, mum couldnt make her mind up which of the 3 girls she liked, so decided on two, saying I should have the third!
So Crystal, Jenny and Lilly joined our family, sadly when mum passed away, Jenny and lily came to live with me along with their sister Crystal...... today we have 15 Dachshund, the oldest being 15 years , everyone a character!!! We mainly show and have occasional puppies or a junior that does not want to show available.

In 2021 I have decided to add miniature longhair dachshunds into our little family ....
