All our dogs are first and foremost family dogs and pets. Our first dog 'Poppy' was our introduction to having dogs in the family and a choice never regretted. She was followed by 'Flinty' who had a wonderful litter of seven in April 2012. This included her beautiful daughter 'Juno' who has had two litters with 'Spinn'. 'Aoife' is from this last litter and has followed in their footsteps showing the best attributes of the breed. She has given us the next generation of Kilimatindes with a litter of six with 'Elvis' in February 2020 and 'Loki' in 2022. We then kept Orfhlaith from the 2022 litter who is just delightful and a wonderful example of the breed..

Kilimatinde is a small village in Tanzania, roughly translated it means 'Buttermilk Hill'. This seemed a fitting name for our dogs given a family connection to Kilimatinde and the translation so appropriate for Golden Retrievers.
