The Schoneville's were first introduced to the show world in 1980 when Rhoneen, the daughter of Isabel and Peter took their Irish Setter to dog training classes. The person who ran the class suggested that she show the setter because they felt it was a good representation of the breed.

Rhoneen talked her parents into taking her to a show and the family have never looked back since.

Isabel and Peter went on to show English Setters and later became respected breeders, producing a fine line of show champions.

Rhoneen has become interested in the dog world again since rehousing one of the late Mrs F Roberts German Short Haired Pointers. (Isara Kurzhaar Neversaydie)

Mrs Roberts was an old friend of the family and shared many a car journey with the Shoneville's to dog shows all over the country.
