The kennel name 'Nikonis' was granted to Nikki and Syd Farley in 1981 but their involvement with the GSD began in the early 1970's when they started training and competing in obedience in and around the Midland area with the Birmingham West branch of the British Association of German Shepherd Dogs.

Paul began working for Nikki and Syd in their boarding kennels as a teenager in 1996. He was then granted a separate interest in the Nikonis kennel breeding a few litters in the 2000/2010's.

Nikki bred her final litter in 2022 producing Nikonis Perez and Nikonis Patzi.

Jointly Nikki and Paul will continue the Nikonis Kennel, with Nikki passing the baton onto Paul.

We have a small kennels on the outskirts of Coventry, breeding occasionally. All our dogs are health tested for Hips, Elbows, Haemophilia, DM and PD as well as being Breed Surveyed.

We have a small team of dogs that we are actively campaigning at KC Championship shows and WUSV/GSDL-BRG events. Our dogs are also worked to gain IGP working qualifications with Indra IPO 2 and Magic IGP 2.

Our puppies are all KC registered, wormed and microchipped before going to their new homes. They are well socialised and reared on raw meet and Josera food.
