OUR BEAGLES ARE OUR FAMILY...

Our dogs are a central part of the household, some may say they rule the roost!
The Bjornhagen pack love nothing better than sunning themselves in the garden, endlessly tearing about in the South Yorkshire countryside, after elusive squirrels and rabbits (with the wildlife winning hands down every time!), or hogging the sofa in front of the telly! They also enjoy their outings to shows at all levels, but only as and when it suits each dog, no-one is forced to perform against their wishes!

The Bjornhagen Kennel affix originates from Sweden, where Karin's mother Gerd Andersson (nee Bj�rnstr�m) started out in the 1950's, creating the affix Bj�rnhagens from her maiden name combined with Hagen, the suburb of Gothenburg in which she was born and raised. She became well known for several breeds, making up Champions in Miniatue Poodle, Papillon, Pomeranian & Welsh Corgi (Pembroke), by far her most successful homebred dog being Danish Ch, German Gr Ch, BeneLux Ch, French Ch, Swiss Ch & International Ch Bj�rnhagens Rasken (Ynyswyn Sweet Montesuma (imp UK) x Bj�rnhagens Karina Nickydotter), a delightful red/white Papillon.
In 2008, we were delighted to be allowed to use the affix Bjornhagen in the UK, on Gerd's retirement from breeding.

As family home based Breeders, we only produce a litter occasionally.
Our puppies are bred and lovingly raised in our home environment, and are health tested to KC & Breed Club Standards.
