I was born into dogs, my father owning German Shepherds and have always been around them. I got my first sheltie in 1978 when I was 8 years old after repeatedly pestering my parents for a "lassie" dog. I think they thought a sheltie would be a good substitute! Since that day I have never been without them.

I have been showing for around 25 years and judge at championship level. I am also a member of a breed committee, a judge's sub committee. I am also a member of the Royal Kennel Club.
