The dogs are very much pets first, they have their own room in the house.
They all enjoy running together every day at the local dog park.

I have had dogs all my life, I started showing the Afghans around the companion shows aged 5. I met the lovely Merlin, Triken Harlequin, at Open Show and immediately fell in love with Whippets after seeing him run. My first whippet was brought for me in 1991. All my homebred Whippets go back to Merlin.
I am very proud of the success my dogs have had in the ring, we definitely breed for quality not quantity.
I started giving CC's in Whippets in 2021 and am set to be a speaker, mentor and assessor under the Kennel Club's new judging system.
I have been passed for CC's in Greyhounds for 2021 and hope to be approved in Dachshunds in the near future, having completed all the requirements.
I am also judging other hound breeds at Open Show which I get much pleasure from as well as learning as much as I can at Breed Specific seminars.
I have been Secretary of East Anglian Whippet Club since June 2005 and am a Committee Member of Huntingdon Canine Society and East Anglian Supermatch.

I have bred 5 whippet Champions and owned a Champion Greyhound, with many other successful dogs in both breeds.
Zia - our Standard Smooth Haired Dachshund joined us in 2019 and only attended 2 shows before lockdown.
