I am scrupulous about the health checks. My girls have full health checks, hip, elbow, eye and DNA. I breed to ensure that the puppies are free from hereditary diseases to which Golden Retrievers are prone. My Australian girl Hazel is silkier and softer than English Golden Retrievers and I was keen to breed from her to produce puppies with her wonderful temperament. I have four school age children so the puppies could not be better socialised. They live with us inside the house and are used to being handled by children from birth.
