I was first introduced to my breed the Staffordshire Bull Terrier in the early 80's but it wasn't until the early 90's when i got my first dog of my own "Spark of Fire" he was quite nicely bred but just a pet & a good pet he turned out to be. He sired a few litters & in the late 90's I ran on one of his sons "Frayed End of Sanity". He was just like his sire a good loyal pet. He also sired a few litters but by then i was looking for a bitch of my own.
Then at the turn of the century I thought about having ago at breeding my own stock for the show ring. I was granted the kennel name "Roughnecks" by the kennel club & bought my 1st bitch "Masor Awesome Blossom at Roughnecks". I bought her with the intention of showing her but decided i would prefer to show abitch i had bred myself...
A few years later she had her first litter & I ran on " Roughnecks Red Dreamer" to have a go showing with but she didn't want to play ball with the showing ring & the next year "Roughnecks Red Rose" was born in the 2nd litter. I made my show debut with her at WELKS 08, she won her class+ BPIB & i was hooked. she held her own at champion shows winning classes & being placed.
The next year "Roughnecks Red Dreamer" had her first litter & I ran on "Roughnecks Dream Looker" & had alot more fun in the ring with her.
Out of the next litter i ran on "Roughnecks Nothern Storm" who was a pleasure to handle & more fun to be had with her.
I have had good success with "Roughnecks Daggers Drawn" who's out of "Roughnecks Red Dreamers" 2nd litter holding her own in the ring... similar success with "Roughnecks Rose Blossom" out of " Roughnecks Red Rose " 1st litter & "Roughnecks Ecstasy Of Gold" out of "Roughnecks Red Rose" 2nd litter.
I also unveiled "Roughnecks Special Envoy" out of "Roughnecks Daggers Drawn" 1st litter which have had good campaign in 2013..
I'm unveiling "Roughnecks Justice For All" for the 2014 campaign...
I'am also proud of stock i have sent over seas with INTCH SWECH Roughnecks Devious Boy, INTCH NCH UKCCH AKCCH AKCGCH Roughnecks Casual Look, AKCCH AKCGCH Roughnecks Masta of Puppets & AKCCH AKCGCH Roughnecks Rose Blossom flying the flag...
