I started with Gordon Setters in the early 80's. I strive to produce Gordons who are sound, look good, have a good temperament and can do the job they were bred to do. The Gordons in my kennel have won a number of awards in field trials. All dogs in my kennel are hip scored and when breeding I only use dogs that have a score below the breed median. Following the development of the DNA test for late onset PRA in March 2011 all my dogs that will be used for future breeding have been DNA tested or are hereditary clear
In 2007 I imported 2 dogs from Italy that were a mix of Warrenfell and European working bloodlines. I had a litter from both of these dogs in 2008 and have been thrilled with the results. Both I and my Gordon's like nothing better than working on the hill and the warmth of a log fire on a cold winters evening. Warrenfell Gordons intelligent, loving and fun to be with.
