Breeder of:

  • Border Terrier

I bought my first Border in 2001 and have been completed converted after having Labradors for 15 years. Buddy (Abbeyvilles Willow Willy of Chorbeck) he lived to the grand old age of 14 1/2 years old and ailed nothing, the day he was put to sleep the only sign there was something wrong when he couldn't swallow his breakfast which was due to a tumour we had no idea he had, never showed any signs of illnesss. He sired my first Chorbeck litter and Max and Ruby are now almost 13 years old and still going strong proving Borders to be a healthy and sturdy breed.

I bred my first litter in 2007 and achieved my 1st Stud Book Number with my first born Max (Chorbeck Moonlight Shadow)and now have 10 dogs that have been good enough quality to gain their Stud Book Numbers and have bred 1 Multi Champion (Chorbeck Gossip Girl at Blackmine JW)

Her Dad was my Chorbeck Charlin Chaplin JW SHCM whom I lost tragically when he got a piece of chew stuck in his intestine and emergency surgery and 3 days in intensive care, but sadly he couldn't be saved. He lives on through all his progeny that I now own that go back to him.

Our last 2 new prospects. Ari (Chorbeck Move to the Music JW) being his Great Grandson and also a Buddy Great Grandson, my first Border Terrier and Betsy (Blackmine Blue Pearl at Chorbeck JW) a Charlie Grand Daughter out of Multi Champion Chorbeck Gossip Girl at Blackmine JW

They have now produced a beautiful litter (2022) and have kept 2 puppies Benjamin and Razzle

I am a Kennel Club Assured Breeder. I only breed to improve on my stock for the show ring, on average once a year and therefore only occasionally have puppies available to suitable homes. I also occasional rehome my adult dogs to very special approved homes only, to allow me to concentrate on my younger up and coming stock.

All my dogs are tested for SLEM/Shaking Puppy and only breed from SLEM tested stock. Also have them eye tested.
