We live in West Horsley, Surrey and spend a lot of time outdoors in the countryside. Our family business is a livery yard and our dogs spend most days in the yard with us and the evenings in the comfort of our house! Because of our life style our dogs need to be obedient, well-mannered and sociable.
We have two gorgeous Miniature Smooth Haired Dachshunds. Both Black and Tan. Both PRA (cord1) Hereditarily Clear.
Ruby aka Hankydoodles Black Sheep was our first and is adored. Well bred with a super temperament. Our whole family and lots of friends are now smitten with this breed because of her!
Lexi aka Minniewood Flame Lily joined us end of May 2015. Her temperament is just as lovely and is often seen running around our fields whilst our sons are checking the fencing, at a horse show snoozing with Ruby in their "horsebox bed" or on a lead by the ring.
Both Ruby and Lexi are well bred. Their breeding is such that they could produce show dogs as well as family pets.
Please note these are our family pets and as such are never rehomed when older so please do not ask.

Mia (Moongeant Foxglove) was a big part of our family. Silver grey in colour with a beautiful head and very good conformation. She was extremely well bred with many show champions on both sides. Mia has a hip score of 2:2 and a clear eye test.
Mia is a perfect family dog- intelligent, loyal and perfect with our children and their friends. Her temperament is second to none and we are always being told how calm and well behaved she is. She has also proved herself as a good gundog having been easy to train and always willing to please.
One of her litter was, of course, kept and Maisie (Caretino Secret) is as beautiful as her mother. The same light silver grey colour, well shaped head and good conformation. So like Mia in temperament and as well behaved in all aspects of our life. Show champions on both sides and a low hip score of 4:6 makes her perfect to breed from for showing, working or family pets.
