We have owned retrievers for over 40 years. We bred our first litter in 1986 when we obtained the PANDREFT Kennel Club affix and all of our dogs can be traced back to this first mating. We have always bred for type, temperament and soundness and continue to always be true to the breed standard. We aim to breed healthy sound dogs with biddable temperaments and always bear in mind when selecting stud dogs the kennel club requirements of a dog fit for purpose. We are now into our 9th generation. Our dogs are first and foremost our family pets - who live in the house with us -they are very loving and kind and are true friends and companions. It is a bonus when they do well in the show ring, and when they go out and do a day picking up on local shoots or compete in a working test they make us very proud and honoured that they are a huge part of our lives. We are very proud of the many show and working awards they have achieved over the years.

We are KC Assured Breeders. We are situated in the New Forest, Hampshire and are happy for people to visit us and see our dogs, how they live and enjoy their lives - please telephone or email to make an appointment.

Pat judges goldens at Championship Level and Fred trains our own dogs in the field and is always willing to help others to train their dogs.
