Intially we started showing Border Collies since 1987 and have had a relatively good successful showing career with a number of Challenge Certificates and Reserve Certificates. All of our show dogs have achieved their stud book numbers and we have been to Crufts on a number of occasions.

We occasional have litters of Border Collies, both parents are hip scored and eye tested. All of our dogs are DNA tested. All the puppies are eye tested, wormed and insured.

We also showed our Bernese Mountain Dogs which we have had for 12 years. This was a breed we were initially going to have before Border Collie's only the breeder died and so were not able to have the dog we wanted. The Bernese and Borders mix well together and are very good with children and are well socialized.

As well as showing the dogs they all love to be out running around the fields, or just laying on the sofa having a cuddle.

We have our own stud dogs and should we need to use other stud dogs we are very selective with which breeding lines we use, temperament being paramount.

Mark also judges Border Collies and other breeds and gives tickets in Border Collies. I have started judging at Open show level and working towards giving tickets.
