EBONY was my first German Shepherd when my husband came home from work one day with her in toe ! She was subject to a marriage split and needed a home at 2 years old. After she had settled with us, our 2 year old Son Rick and our rescue cat, I started to take her to Companion Dog Shows every weekend and had caught the Show Bug ! - she had some good placings including BEST IN SHOW. I then traced her back to Norwulf Kennels and this would be the link to my introduction to Norwulf.
As she reached middle age, I began to show her at Open Show level and I had lots of fun practicing handling techniques etc with her. As time went on she excelled herself and went on to gain over 20 BEST VETERAN in SHOWS competing with large entries in her classes and often up against Champions of other breeds. Her last show attendandce was her only Champ. Show and at 10 years of age was 1st in Veteran Bitch at the GSD Club of UK Breed Champ. Show (Nov03).
Ebony was very special to us and has played the most important role of introducing me to this nobel breed. She was a fantastic foundation Bitch for me as far as showing was concerned, and was always a very loal member of our family.
