This is our lovely Echo( now nicknamed splodge by all who know and love her, I have no idea why!) she came to us from Arbroath, her dam is our own lovely Brambles' litter sister Littlehill Holly (who looks so much like Bramble it would be difficult to tell them apart) so Echo has come to live with her Aunties! Her sire is a lovely strong black dog who also belongs to the Aricdell kennel. We are hoping that Echo in time will take her place as one of our breeding bitches and will be waiting impatiently to see if she carries the liver gene just like her two aunties but in the meantime we just get to enjoy her company, she is quite independant and settled in straight away even going for a sneaky snack at Brambles milk bar (Bram didn't seem to mind at all) the cheeky monkey. Echo is the sweetest and most beautiful girl, she is very eager to please and wags with her whole body when she sees you or just when you talk to her and we are so lucky to be able to have her with us. As Echo grows she looks so much like our beautiful Willow and Bramble that even we mistake them sometimes, she loves to swim in the river and dives into the water often reaching half way accross before splash down, she races Murdoch to the tennis ball and beats him most times, poor Murdy!! when Echo got the ball she used to sit just out of range with it and would not give it back(shades of Aunty Bramble as a youngster there I am afraid!) she can even bark with the ball firmly wedged in her mouth even if it is a little muffled, I think she was quite put out by the fact that we will not chase her to get the ball and as with our Bram she has soon learnt its much more fun to play with everybody else! Echo is a a complete clown and loves nothing more than a full body hug whenever possible, usually without warning you first and the added bonus to the full body hug is that it comes complete with a full wash service, ears included! Getting even these two pictures unblurred was a major feat as she is never still!
