In 2006 "Gus" won 1 CC under Des Flaherty (Merganser GSP's) at Midland Counties and also 1 RCC under Mike Ryan at the GSP Association Championship.

His success continues in 2007 winning 3 RCC's under Ben Thurm at Brimingham National, Stevie Allerton at National Gundog and Sharon Pinkerton at City of Birmingham.
