Monty has turned into a very handsome man. He has his mothers wonderful temperament, and is easy to live with whilst at the same time, being a true border out on a walk, he likes nothing more than a good swim, and is definitely a dog who likes to just run. He does well in the show ring. he qualified for BCCGB pup of the year with a first in minor puppy dog at East Anglian Border Collie Club Champ Show, which was only his second time in the ring! this also qualified him for Crufts 2007 where he was placed 4th in undergraduate. Monty did very well during 2007, he was nearly always in the top 3 in his class, usually 2nd :-). He is hip scored 3/0, and is DNA hereditary clear for CEA, CL and TNS, which means he will never produce pups affected by either disease. He has recently sired two very nice litters, both of which are chunky lively pups with stunning heads and good construction. All have had brilliant temperaments!!
