This little fellow has been with us since summer 2001 our first venture into this breed and the house is empty when he is not there, no matter how many Weimaraners are running around. He qualified for Crufts 2002 at the only chance open to him, two weeks after he was 6 months old and a week later was awarded Group 4 and Reserve Best Puppy In Show at South Yorkshire Hound Society, judged by Jeff Horswell.
During 2002 Flynn was awarded 3 Best Puppy in Show awards, 2 Reserve Best Puppy in Show and a Reserve Best in Show
Zena Thorn-Andrews made our day at CRUFTS 2002 where she awarded him 1st in Puppy Dog then gave him Best Puppy in Breed after awarding his Sire CH Afterglow Woody Woodpecker (Woody) Best of Breed. At The Hound Association of Scotland championship Show, judge J Clark found his Best Dog and Best of Breed in Flynn's Sire "Woody" who went on to Best In Show. His Best Puppy in Breed and Reserve Best Dog was Flynn. At Windsor Flynn was awarded Reserve Best Dog by Rosemary Hubrich from New Zealand.
He also won Reserve Best of Sex Any Variety Not Seperately Classified at SKC in August judge Mr J McManus and at Belfast in September judge Mrs Thorn Andrews. By being awarded 2nd in Open at the Club show in October by Mrs Jean Lanning, Flynn was awarded his Kennel Club Stud Book Number.
Flynn started 2003 in good style by being awarded Best In Show at Clitheroe & District Show by Mrs Mae Wood-Dowson. Then in February was awarded Best In Show by Linda Reid at Northwich & District Canine Society Show.
On St Patricks Day 2003 Flynn went to Dublin for the Irish Kennel Club Show where he won The Dog Green Star, CACIB and Best of Breed, a feat he repeated in 2004 and 2005. He has been back to Ireland several times during 2003 and 2004 and became an Irish Champion in November 2004. He has won 5 CACIBs in Ireland and 1 at The All Winners Show in Amsterdam November 2004.
Flynn was Awarded the Challenge Certificate and Best of Breed at Driffield Championship Show October 2003
He is the proud sire of six puppies born to Mike Gadsby's Pommerie Cynique just before Christmas 2002.
In 2005 Flynn went to the Eurodogshow in Vienna where he was awarded the CAC CACIB and BOB and the Title European Champion 2005.
In July 2005 Flynn parted with us to go and spend some time with Ivor and Michele Keelan in Texas USA, he finished his title within 6 weeks of arriving and has won 2 groups and several other group placings making him currently the number 7 PBGV on the group list.
