Murdoch is our 3rd flatty, he is a liver dog and as soft as they come. He was born in Ireland and we were lucky enough to get him at 9 wks. old He is a fantastic dark liver colour that does not fade in the sun (the photos do not do him justice) a depth of colour that he passes on to his puppies, a strong medium sized dog, so affectionate that anyone is likely to get mugged and given a face wash, he is allways ridiculously pleased to see you. He learns very quickly when you can get him to stop chewing your ears long enough!! We mated Murdoch and Willow in 2006 and together they produced a litter of nine pups, a mix of black and liver and a good mix of boys and girls who have all gone to great homes., he has also produced a litter of pups with Bramble born 2007 with an astonishing number of liver pups 5 out of a litter of 6 were liver, 3 dogs and 3 bitches all doing well and also with their new families. Since then he has gone on to sire another two litters of 4 and 6 puppies with Willow and a litter of 13 with Bramble. He absolutely adored all his puppies although he was a little surprised when they went looking for milk, poor boy. He is known at home as Murdy the monster or the big fella and is so dearly loved by all that he gets away with murder. He is fantastic at retrieving any number of his favourite sticks from the heather and never comes back with out one, the trick then is to keep it away from Bramble who promptly steals them, he has learned to be very very fast!! Murdy swims like a fish and dives into the local river with great enthusiasm, he has been a great example to Echo and Ziva who also love to swim, he will also dive under the sea to rescue sunken tennis balls and never gives up untill it is saved earning him the nick name Scooba Dog! Murdoch continues to mature and grow ever more handsome and has endeared himself to every body who has met him, so much so that people would like to take him home with them, not a chance!!!
