This is Willow (or numpty as she is affectionately known). Willow is Brambles full sister but they are quite different, Willow is quite independent when out on walks, she loves the water just as much as Bram but mainly because she is allways on the lookout for ducks!!!! She beats the birds out of the undergrowth in the garden at home and I have had to rescue (mostly unharmed I may add) quite a few pigeons from the jaws of this pretty girl. She is extremely quick on the uptake and was a dream to house train. She and Murdoch are best of buddies. Willow was eye tested in 2006 and behaved impecably, she was given the all clear the vet saying that she has fantastic drainage angles(not every day someone praises your drainage angles!) She had her first litter in 2006, a mix of five black and four liver pups all beautiful and all now with their new families. She has one of the most appealling characters that I have ever come accross in a flattie (and I find all flatties appealing).
Willow was mated late june '07 and had a litter of 4 pups, one liver boy, a black boy and two black girls who are all going to super families (two to join other flatties, and one to a family who have sadly lost their flatcoat and our lovely Luna who is staying with us) all over the country, once again Willow has been a super mum but still insists on going for walkies with the gang (right from the night after the birth) and as a result has kept her girlish figure lucky girl!!!
Willow has had her 3rd litter of puppies all gorgeous, just before bonfire night 2008 and again has covered herself with glory. They are a fantastic on the ball litter very quick to feed and all growing fast, a liver boy is going to join his sister from Willows previous litter and a couple are going to families who have had flatties in the past and can't wait to have one again and the others are all going to families new to flatcoats - what can I say welcome to the club, every home should have one!
