Bramble was our first bitch bred by my father and his wife in scotland (Littlehill Kennel) and is our pride and joy. She carries liver genes from her sire (wizardwood Tawny Taffrail) and has her mothers good looks (Daldarroch Heather Rosalie). She has a wonderfull temperament, loving , tactile and relatively calm for a flatty untill of course she gets near water or a good supply of sticks which she hogs all for herself much to the disgust of our other dogs. She loves to swim. We did obedience training with Bramble for a while and while she will do as you tell her she isn't allways happy about it!!!! quite a character really, so we gave up and decided if she would just rather swim in the river and chase sticks thats fine with us. Bramble had her first litter of pups in 2007) and was a wonderfull mother. She gave birth to a very surprising 5 liver pups and only one black. She also had a litter of 13...yes 13 puppies in 2008 who are all doing great with their new families. Bram is a fabulous example of the breed and posesses all the attributes one would expect from a Flatcoat.
