Storm - our very special dog!
Storm was in our very first litter. He had to be castrated at 10months old, and I therefore assumed that he would not be able to be shown. It was decided that my husband would work him instead.
At about 18mths KC permission was granted to allow him to be shown - certainly 'NOT' the done thing! I know that I was frowned upon by some. With perseverence (and judges who were prepared to put the fact that there were a couple of bits missing!!) he won his way up through the classes at the championship shows. He won his class at Crufts, got down to the final 4 dogs for the CC at one of the Cotswold and Wyevern Lab Club Champ show, and most recently went Best Veteran in Show at the Lab Club of Wales Champ show (Feb 2007) under Richard Edwards.
He has proved a point, and is a 'very' precious member of our household.
