Julie , like her litter brother CH POOLSWAY NO MORE MR
NICE GUY, has been very sucessful in the ring since her
debut at 9months old. Her first show gained her a Reserve
Challenge Certificate & Stud Book Number.
At WalesChampionship show under Judge Mr G Gwillam, &
Windsor CH Show under Judge Mrs S Garner, Dozy & his
sister (Julie - Poolsway I've Got Spirit) achieved the 'Double'.
This means that the judge awarded the Dog CC & The Bitch
CC from the same show to dogs from the same Kennel/
Owner!
Julie has now gained 28 CC's many with Best of Breeds and
15 Res CC's.
On March 3rd 2007 at the English St Bernard Club
Championship Show Judge Clyde Rogers of the well known -
TAI YUAN ST BERNARDS of New Zealand awarded Julie with
Bitch CC, Best Bitch and then Best in Show.
His Critique is as follows : A truly well poportioned female of
size and great substance. An outstanding representative of
the breed. She impressed me the moment she entered the
ring. Large, massive skull with short, broad muzzle, good stop
and dark medium sized eyes. A long, thick, muscular neck
that flowed into angulated shoulders. These were matched by
a well angulated hindquarter providing the balance we strive
for. This bitch carried bone in abundance and moved
effortlessly around the ring. Put down to perfection, she was a
pleasure to judge.
STOP PRESS****Poolsway have done the double again. This
time it is Julie (CH Poolsway I've got spirit) and Bob
(Poolsway Mr Nice Guy) at Border union under Judge Barry
Makepeace.
Julie took Best of Breed and then went on to get 4th in
Working Group under Judge Peter Radley****
****Stop Press**** Julie became the new breed record holder
at the Eastern St Bernard Championship Show under breed
specialist Brian Stammers on the 24/11/2007.
