Wizard is now a SHOW CHAMPION which not only means he is the Top winning red and white Border Collie male in the UK But he is also the first and only red and white male UK Show Champion .
He has won 3 CC's and 4 reserve CC's. The first RCC was under Roy Baker at Leeds Championship Show when Wizard was just 8 and 1/2 mths. He went on to win 2 RCC's in 2004 under Penny Foster Cooper and Angela Gillespie. His 1st CC was under Jan Starkey at WPB of Wales in April 2005. On 1st July 06 Wizard won his 2nd CC and Best of Breed at Windsor, judge Angela Gillespie. Wizard added a 4th Res CC to his list of honours under Meg Purnell Carpenter in Belfast at the end of September 06.
Then on 27th May 2007 he was awarded his 3rd CC by Sue Searle at Bath. This makes Wizard a Show Champion
Wizard has also been awarded a Junior Warrant and Show Certificate of Merit we believe he is the first red and white to achieve both these awards .
He has competed and been placed in agility although time for this has been limited. When he was awarded his show champion title he returned to training and competing in agility. Many thanks to Mike Douglas and Jill Spur for their help with the training during 2007 which resulted in several top ten places including 5th in combined grades 1 and 2 agility. Wizard will be at Crufts 2008 and a couple of other championship breed shows during the summer but the main focus for him will be the agility competitions where he has had several places alresdy this year. (who says show dogs can't work !! )
He has offspring in traning for agility and obedience as well as the breed show ring. 10 of Wizard's offspring qualified for Crufts 2007. Five of them also qualified for Border Collie Puppy of the year.
Congratulations to Cashindie Scarlet Dreams and Goytre Legacy for Tia who won Reserve Best Puppy in Show at an all breed open show during 2006.
There were quite a few Wizard offspring at Crufts this year including Jupavia First Image (Chico ) who qualified for Crufts 2008 first time in the ring and Cashindie Scarlet Dreams (Red Tia ). Chico was 5th in Junior and Tia won Graduate. Another sired by Wizard Detania Autumunal Prince was 1st in Post Graduate Dog, all judged by breed specialists.
Congratulations to Goytre Legacy for Tia and Goytre Promise Of Fantasy who have both gained their stud book number from their first entry into Limit.
Wizard is a house dog with a wonderful temperament he loves nothing more than to have a cuddle. Once out and about he is a fit and very energetic boy who will go all day. He is my constant companion. He is producing puppies with high drive but with an off switch.
Wizard has now sired over 100 puppies with fabulous temperaments that include wonderful family pets and companions , keen to learn obedience dogs, fast agility and flyball dogs, as well as a mixture of all the above. Not forgetting those being shown in the breed ring with great success.

DNA tested for CEA and is Normal which means he can not produce offpring affected with CEA.
He has a current clear eye certificate (tested anually)
He is also DNA tested normal for CL and TNS
