Max is ultimately my friend and companion and was my first dog when we got him. My friend who has Max's mum has had Vizslas for some time so I new what I was getting into, and it was worth it and now with his daughter 'Amber' by our side makes it all complete.
I have shown Max in local shows and he is trained to kennel club gold and advanced level of obedience, Amber is just going on to her gold level with the kennel club and beat max in a reasent dog show for obedience!!
Max attended Crufts at 10months old to compete in an obedience show, and although showing is not for me I do take the breed standards seriously.
Although my uncle sometimes takes Max out on a shoot, he is mostly a family member in our house hold, and enjoys the out door life that N.Devon can provide.
I am lucky enough to be an owner of one of the most beautiful animals alive and intend to make their lives as happy and wonderful as they have mine.
Anyone thinking of getting a vizsla is always welcome to come for a walk with us, but be prepared to be stopped every five minutes by people admiring them!
