Douglas is a real extrovert, a party animal. His offspring include Dereheath Pedridot at Dearduenna,
BEST OF BREED CRUFTS 2008 , Best Veteran Dog Crufts 2009(2 CCs including BOB Crufts 2008, 3 RCC, RBIS at Hadrian Basset Hound Club 2005 Ch. Show) owned and shown by Di Melbourne and Paul Isted. He has won one of his CC's and 2 Rcc's from Veteran which is quite an achievement. Douglas's offspring also include BIS winner at the Dutch BHC Ch. Show under judges, Sandra Thexton and Michael Errey.

When almost a veteran in 2007 Douglas won the Champion Stakes class at the Bakewell Show. and BOB at Driffield Ch. Show and Third in the Hound Group and also Best in Show at the Basset Hound Club of Wales.

Although now a veteran Douglas continues to sire quality hounds. His daughter, Malrich Gucci was BPIB at Crufts 2009 and her brother, Malrich Diesel at Dereheath was BPD at the Midland Open Show. Di Melbourne's new Douglas daughter, Dearduenna Snowball went BPIS recently at the LYC Open show.
