MOORTIME FOREST FERN CDex, UDex, WDex, TD (Fern)
Fern was born on 2nd September 2002 (Gypsy's daughter).
She is a very loving dog with immense character who loves everyone.
Fern has been placed at Championship and Open Shows and was judged Best Black Tri Dog/Bitch at the 2004 ASCUK Open show.
Before she was 12 months old she gained her Kennel Club Bronze, Silver and Gold Good Citizen Awards. This achievement was recognised by ASCUK who awarded her the Premier Award for 2004 in recognition of an outstanding achievement during the year 2003.
During 2004 Fern was awarded the ASCUK trophies for Best CD Open, Best CDex and Best Dual Purpose Dog/Bitch.
For 2005 she was awarded the ASCUK trophies for Best UD/UDex & Best WD/WDex in Working Trials. This led to her winning the trophy for the Best Working Trials Dog overall for 2005. Because of her achievements in Working Trials & in the Show Ring she was also awarded the trophy for the Best Dual Purpose Aussie for 2005.
For 2006 Fern was awarded the ASCUK trophies for Best WD/WDex & Best TD in Working Trials along with the trophy for the Best Working Trials Dog overall for 2006.
Due to her success in Working Trials Fern is now on ASCUK's Roll of Honour (Working Trials)
In addition to this she also won the National Australian Shepherd Association Working Trials trophy for the best WDex Aussie for 2005 & 2007.
She has taken to her Working Trials training like an Aussie to water, being keen and quick to learn. She has been regularly competing at Trials. Already she has qualified CD Open in First place, CDex in Second place, UD Open in First place and UDex and also two WD Opens in Second and Fourth place. She now has three WDex qualifications, the second of these she was awarded First place. The next day she gained her first TD Open qualification being placed Third.
Fern has been DNA tested by the Animal Health Trust & is preliminary clear of Hereditory Cataracts. She has also been DNA tested by Optigen for PRA & CEA.
