Devonelite Above Suspicion

Brooke is from Beth's second litter by SH. CH. Sandylands Gadabout.

She is absolutely adorable and is a carbon copy of her mother Beth.

Brooke is a real mummy's girl and doesn't really have eyes for anyone else. She is a real baby and will probably never grow up. When we have visitors if they happen to sit on her spot on the sofa then she will either push them off in a not very discreet manner or climb onto their laps.

Brooke loves the show ring and she expects to win and for everyone to clap or she gets most disappointed!!! However I love her whether she wins or not. Brooke has won many many awards in the ring. To date she has gained many many awards both at championship shows and open shows.

She has had 2 litters and produced some outstanding puppies for me. From her first litter I kept River and from her second I kept Devon. She also has 3 other daughters who are winning well in the ring at all levels.

At the tender age of 9 months Brooke successfully passed her Pets As Therapy test. A real achievement for a labrador puppy! She attends the local residential home, where the residents adore her and SHE LOVES THEM AND THEIR BISCUITS. Not sure which she likes best!!!!

Brooke is normally found curled up on someones lap and doesn't really mind whether they're comfortable or not!!!

*STOP PRESS* - Brooke's daughter River passed her Pets As Therapy award at the age of 6 months.

*STOP PRESS* Brooke re-enters the ring as a veteran and wins 3rd from a huge class.

Brooke is now retired and enjoying sleeping on the bed or sofa. Brooke holds a very special place in my heart just like her mother Beth. Since losing her mother Beth, Brooke has been depressed but is now slowly coming around to the fact she can have fun with Taryn.
