Spike became a father on 1st August 2005. He has a son and a daughter of whom he is very proud. His daughter has an inverted tail and his son has a longer tail.
Both his children have been doing well in the show ring since they came out. His daughter Millie has won several Best Puppy in Breed awards and recently also won a pastoral puppy group at an open show. Millie has also won Reserve Best in Show at North West Canine Association and Group 1. Millie has continued in her winning ways taking Best AVNSC Pastoral and Group 2 at Beverley Open Show. His son Tracker has also won a Best Puppy in Breed award and won several classes as an adult.
Spike was one of a litter of 4 and has a natural stump tail. His 3 sisters were all born with full spitz tails.
He has a wonderful temperment and gets on with all the other dogs in the house.
He has done exceptionally well in the show ring with many Best of Breeds / Best AVNSC's and several group placings at shows. Spike also now has acheived a "Best Senior Handler in Show" award where supposedly I was being judged on my handling abilities!
Spike now has 3 CC's & 2RCC's and is finally a Champion. My thanks go to Breed Specialists Melanie Harris & Karen Gilliland and to Ferilith Somerfield, Robin Newhouse and Albert Wight.
Spike now has his Show Certificate of Merit.
Spike has had his eyes tested clear. Spike has had his hips scored and they are Right 4 and Left 5 giving a total of 9.
