Beech is a charming liver bitch, sired by our dog Casblaidd Don't Pay the Ferryman, out of Selene Lucero.

She was awarded her Shooting Dog Certificate 'A' at a week short of eighteen months of age.

At Crufts 2007, she delighted us by winning the best A.V. retriever bitch and the Marsh Trophy in the BASC Pickers-up class. To do this when she had worked 74 days the last shooting season was quite an achievment.

We show very seldom, as we concentrate on working, but to get these show results shows that the conformation must be right.

She won best overall puppy bitch in the Flatcoated Retriever Championship Show 2004 - her first Championship Show.

At the FCRS Open Show, Oct 2006, she won the Best Bitch, Best Field Trial/Working Bitch, Best Liver and RBIS . Especially satisfying as she had already worked 4 hard days that week picking up on partridge in Sussex.

She has always maintained excellent eye contact, making her a delightfully attentive pupil. She has won or been placed in several working tests .

Her rich liver colour is a delight.

She is now the proud mother of eight pups sired by Trioaks Fletcher - all black!
