Mai, an Iris daughter, is now just over 2 yrs old and a slow maturing girl, but well worth waiting for. She is 66 cms high and weighs 37.5 Kg and is very much like her dad Eamon (O's Jonagold), she has his lovely nature, golden wheaten colour, and super ground covering movement, she also has his habit of 'talking' to you, we usually know what she is trying to say!!
In 2009 she only went to four shows, ( two Ch. and two Open) but has won 3 x 1st prizes and 1 x 3rd prize, qualifying for Crufts twice.
At Crufts 2010 we were thrilled when she was placed 2nd in Post Grad. bitch out of a class of 20! Judge - Julie Bates (Gunthwaite)
Since then she has also won her class at Windsor Ch. Sh. and the Midland & Nothern Club Ch. Sh.
In June 2009 she achieved her Kennel Club Bronze and Silver awards, and after training during the summer achieved her GOLD award in November at her first attempt. I am very proud that now both mother and daughter have this award.
