Archie is a handsome steel blue roan with good bone structure, angulation, ribs, an excellent neck and shoulders and with a superb temperament .
He is a proven stud, always gentle with his bitches and sires quality puppies of excellent type and temperament.
Archie is a happy little man with a loving and gentle temperament. He's a pleasure to own and never fails to give of his best.
Archie did well in the show ring with many Best Of Breeds & Group places all achieved in good competition. Archie is Crufts qualified.
Archie has several children in show homes and they are doing very well. In particular our own Phoebe has had a good time in the ring and her half brother, Felix (in Sweden) is having a great time. Lots of lovely wins and Group placings. Felix now has 6 C.C's and is a Swedish Show Champion!
Archie has sired Blue Roan, Blue Roan & Tan, Orange Roan, Orange & White & Black & White & Tri-Colour (Black, White & Tan) puppies - so far! (He carries the gene for chocolate - his son Pied Piper has sired chocolate roan).
Archie has also been Optigen tested. He has tested as pattern A1, meaning he is statistically normal for prcd-PRA and is not expected to develop this disease or pass it to offspring. Archie also has a low hip score of 3 : 3
Archie has been FN tested and is statistically normal, therefore he can be mated to any bitch without the risk of producing FN affected puppies.
