Ruby is from the last Wynsett litter born in 2005, shortly before Linda Collins passed away.
She has had some success in the show ring, regularly being placed well in the lineup at Champ Shows, winning her way out of Post Graduate Bitch last year after gaining seven 1st places.
She was also Best Bitch & Reserve Best in Show at the ISCGB Open Show in October 2007 under breed specialist Ann Hardy out of an entry of 127.
She has done well again this year (2008) gaining her stud book number with a 1st in Limit Bitch & the Reserve Challenge Certificate at South Wales Kennel Association Champ show under all round judge Mrs Meriel Hathaway.
She won another 1st limit bitch & a second Reserve Challenge Certificate at Scottish Kennel Club in August under Moray Armstrong (Bitcon) before retiring for the rest of this year on maternal duties.
Not just a pretty face, we have started gundog training, although she is somewhat hampered with me as a partner! We are striving to improve....
Ruby has been tested clear for Cerabella Ataxia by the AHT.
