When we were planning a litter, we were looking for a show dog that was cuddly at the same time, what we got was Tikka! She loves the cats and would prefer to spend her time staring at them than paying any attention to us at all!
When we lost Astra, we thought we had seen the last of bloody-minded shepherds, but Tikka has taken it to a whole new level. When she does something naughty and you tell her off for it, or even smack her when it's necessary, she simply turns around as if nothing has happened and does it again!
We took her to GSD Club of Devon Championship show and she went fairly well and finished third behind two nice bitches. When we went to Heads of the Valley Open Show, however, she came into her league of her own and pushed very hard eventually taking Best Puppy in Show. The judge also remarked to us that 'had she been in junior, I would have considered her for best bitch!'
With 2 good results under ourt beslt, the hard work is starting and we hope to gain many more awards in her career. As always, we've set our sights high on the CC's.
